Change the Tune is a movement created to inform and improve the current artist situation that has been molded through the rise of music streaming. Our team has studied the current dynamic and outlined the way that artists have been forced to adapt to match the music streaming culture. The Change The Tune team is trying to inform both consumers and artists of how they can better the situation while supporting other companies ideas for long term solutions. Our Team knows that things can drastically improve in the future but want to make sure that while we look for those future solutions we aren’t letting the artists of today suffer. Which is why we have outlined the way artists have adapted and how consumers can help in those areas while a long-term mutually beneficial solution is found. Change The Tune acknowledge we have an uphill battle in changing the mindset of the music industry but are doing everything we can to ensure the future is bright for artists.

Music Artistry should be about someone’s ability to make good music. I am not a fan of the current industry politics that impede an artists entry into the music business. If we are in this industry because of our love for music, then we need to do more to ensure corporate logic does not overpower the music.
